Privacy Policy

Account information. If you create a free account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored as a salted hash (bcrypt) — we never store or can see your actual password. You may optionally add a profile photo.

Activity data. If you're logged in, we record which calendar days you visit the dashboard, so we can show your reading streak. We don't track which individual articles you read.

Cookies. We set a secure, encrypted session cookie to keep you logged in, plus a small companion cookie that only indicates whether you're logged in (it carries no personal data) so the site can show the right navigation without extra page loads.

Information you send us. If you use our Contact form, email us, or leave your email to be notified when the Shop launches, we collect what you submit so we can respond.

AI assistant conversations. Messages you send the on-site chat assistant are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. These conversations aren't linked to your account and aren't used to make decisions about you.

• To provide the Service — logging you in, tracking your streak, and showing your saved profile.
• To respond to messages you send us via the Contact form, email, or chat assistant.
• To notify you when a feature you signed up for (like the Shop) becomes available.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

We don't sell your personal information.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service — for example, to host our database, to pull the latest posts from our own social media channels into the site, and to power the optional AI chat assistant. These providers process data only as needed to provide their part of the Service to us; they don't use it for their own purposes.

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account (see below), we'll remove your account data. Passwords are never stored in plain text. As with any online service, we can't guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

You can update your name and profile photo any time from your account Settings. To access, correct, or delete your personal data — or to unsubscribe from any notifications — email info@atmospheredaily.com or use the Contact page. We'll act on your request as soon as we reasonably can.

The Service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
